Saturday's March

There is a big pro-peace march in DC tomorrow. I will be going. The weather should be nicer than today, but I think I would prefer the sub-zero weather we are having today. That way I could have more padding on when the police start beating us all.

I have never been to a march before, mostly because I either forget or find out after the fact. I want you all to know that this will be seriously cutting in to my World of Warcraft time. Just so you know how much I am sacrificing for my beliefs.

It's going to be huge! (and that's a good thing! Less chance that you will be singled out and beat by the police, right?)
I was considering going, myself -- and may still do so, though it would involve hours on a bus to get there.
Have fun!

Yeah it should be interesting.

My strongest impression at the 2004 march was how really un-hippie everyone looked. That was in contrast to most others I have gone to. I expect more of that this weekend.

You should all wear those caps and masks like in V for Vendetta.

It's always fun to try and point out all the KGB...uh, FBI agents trying to mingle with the cool kids...

I know I'm a near total stranger, but I forsee a reason for me to go to D.C. in the future.

Not sure when, but another major rally is in the works, and I'm gonna need a place to crash.

I promise I'm not Tucker.

Everything is more fun without pants and you are welcome any time mdhatter. I will be moving to a larger unit in my building in a couple weeks, so you won't even have to worry about inadvertently tripping over my wang.

Fish should go with you. Bring a few of the kids and a remote to stick down their pants.

" I either forget or find out after the fact."

Crap! This time Bossy managed to do both - forget and find out after the fact! How was it?

I never would have given it much thought before...but now, if we were in the same place...I'd be sitting right next to you.

I was more concerned about two such massive wangs in one standard living unit.

At todays rally - right now, in fact, you should go stand in front of the reflecting pool - that should about accomodate it.

Okay, so if he's not back by tomorrow, I'm checking the pokey...

I wasn't arrested. I didn't see anyone get arrested but I did see some undercover cops roaming around. They were pretty easy to spot. Stern looking men who were scanning the crowd and never looked up at the stage. I'll put a whole post up later today.

did you see the rayguns, man?

I am currently being cooked and basted by those rayguns.

In all honesty, any group of dedicated protesters with experience as short order cooks would have no trouble dealing with that piece of techno-wizardry.

Did you decide to march sans pants?
