Hell yes, I am going to buy that game. I'll probably even pre-order it. System Shock 2 was so damn brilliant my eyes are still blinking. Bioshock ought to sufficiently rampage through my cortex in such a fashion as to render me incapable of thoughts beyond gathering plasmids and frying my enemies.
"It is my intention to secure two copies of the game, entire - one Collectors' edition, and one exclusively to shove up Roger Ebert's ass. If Bioshock isn't "art," then art is the poorer for it." - Tycho
Amen, Ebert has needed a style enema for some time.

Is your computer even capable of running Bioshock? I thought that thing required some sort of quad-core xeon processor or something.
Anyway, whenever it eventually comes out for PS3 I'll pick it. Besides, System Shock 2 freaked me the crap out.
I think John Woo presents: Stranglehold would be more my style.
Bioshock is going to be all kinds of awesomesauce. I hope Alex likes it, because he's going to be at my apartment on Tuesday on his way back from Gencon ;)
In the meantime I'm like so totally fighting demons and listening to "who likes who" gossip in Persona 3. It's like xmas.
Isn't Persona the game where you have sex with ghosts as a teenage hooker for magic power or some shit?
My computer might be capable of running it. I have to try out this 256 MB graphics card I was given. I have enough HD space now that I got that SATA installed by the pros. I also have 1.5 GB RAM and could easily upgrade to a full 2 GB.
Yeah, I have to get this. It is my 360's destiny. I think the demo's on Xbox Live now.
I played the Stranglehold demo. Pretty fun and very, very true to the Woo style.
I figure that a game in the true Woo style would have a screen filled with doves that magically never get hit by the gatling gun pistols you wield. Maybe not even any bad dudes, just shitloads of doves.
there are flocks of doves that you can startle. Banisters for sliding down. Carts to roll on. Guys to shoot in the groin.
The collectors edition for PS3 even has an HD version of Hard Boiled on it.
I played the Bioshock demo last night. Holy shit! Even The Lovely Becky was getting a kick out of watching me play.
Well that just fucking tears it! If The Lovely Becky enjoys it then I have to buy it.
Incidentally, I met a woman who plays and enjoys Guitar Hero. She is already married so there goes that.
This is tempting me to get a 360. Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock. Sigh ...
