Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse's Two for One Offer Sticking in My Fucking Eye

Thanks for jabbing that one in, guys. I don't have anyone with whom to see a movie or at least, anyone who doesn't come with a plus one. So that is extra awesome.

Also, that theater is frigging hard to get to and Virginia hates cabs and actively hates me for not owning a pollution machine. I fucking hate Virginia.

They do say that a ticket for an early FREE screening doesn't guarantee admittance. With that in mind, they weren't obligated to give you anything but were nice enough to give you something.

It'd probably actually just be cheaper to go see a movie with someone at a closer theater and pay full price.

Yeah, this is a different thing. This weekend tickets for newsletter recipients are two for one.

Maybe one of the Brothers of Indeterminate Number will want to go see Death at a Funeral or something. There are plenty of them in town, at least one of them might want to go.

I totally agree about Virginia. I can't understand why so many people seem to love it so. It's designed to be inconvenient.

Mandos, it couldn't be more inconvenient if an alliance of men and elves had destroyed it three times and new suburbs had been built upon the ruins.

you Virginia haters need to go back across the Potomac. It's not like getting around DC is some sort of fun prize.

I lived in VA for over 2.5 years and had no problem with it. You can drive places if you need to or walk places if you don't feel like it. It was really the best of both worlds for me.

Even better, basic utilities functioned as they should! Shocking I know but hey, that's what happens when congress doesn't run your stuff.

As I always say, Virgnia is for Lamers.

And the people from Virginia are so annoying.

yeah, well people from DC are ... I actually don't really care about this that much.

I think we can all agree that we're glad we're not in West Virginia.

Glad I'm not from DC either.

By the way, do you actually not eat nachos?

I actually love the nachos. I would encourage you not to eat them though. that leaves more for me!

You are subscribing to a zero-sum theory of nachonomics. In reality, a rising salsa lifts all corn chips.
