Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, a member of the Senate Judiciary and Intelligence committees, said without immunity, the firms would turn down future requests for help.

Yes, because now that you've granted them immunity you OWN them. Well done.

I noticed that a single republican must have broken ranks and voted for the amendment. Was it Specter? Are they going to have to kill him now? When was the last time that the Democrats in senate voted within one person of unanimous? What's the point of how a majority when a third of your members of flightless?

nah, no Republicans broke ranks. Someone stayed home.

Liebermann, of course, voted with his Bush lovin buddies.

Oh, of course, I was forgetting about Sanders. This is all so superlame. It's like letting a murderer off the hook because you want to hire them later for custom assassinations. I see that Bush is steamrolling ahead with this illegal wiretapping programs. Goodie.

Fuck, the senate has some really important votes going on and they need Obama and Clinton present. There are a lot of votes being defeated by 3 people or less and there are more absentees than the difference. We should just let Obama have the nomination and make him get the fuck back to work. The campaigning is hurting the Dems in congress.

Type slowly, speak into the vase, please, and face directly towards your monitor.

Your Homeland Security Agency thanks you.

Both of the nominees this year will (most likely) be Senators. I'm afraid to say that there will be a lot more missed votes, by all candidates.
