Tonight, I am making tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.
The ingredients list contains one mistake that should be easy to spot. You have one guess each.
Large can of Safeway tomato soup
Dash of basil flakes
Sprinkle of cumin
Shake or two of pepper
Drizzle of celery salt
Drazzle of seasoned salt
Large block of colby cheese
Twelve grain bread
Organic salted sweet cream butter
This one is really easy.
UPDATE: To clarify this, the mistake was not eating four grilled cheese sandwiches and dipping them in tomato soup while watching The Biggest Loser. I thought I was going to watch some Bionic Woman and Life, but instead I got fatties on a treadmill. When I heard that one of the women started the contest at 240 pounds, that hit close to the bone. I need to get back into my routine of waking up and doing pushups and situps.

The lack of chili.
Not exactly but that is one I should have remembered.
Twelve Grain Bread
I agree w/ Shannon. Twelve Grain Bread does not belong.
You guys are both wrong.
I am going with the cumin- I was going to say celery salt, but I think I remember you having an intense love of celery salt.
I was going to guess again, then noticed we only get one guess each. Damn, you're tough.
Without a doubt, the cumin. American fingers do not understand what a "pinch" of cumin is. If you can see the cumin between your fingers, you are probably adding too much.
I say basil flakes. ick.
No. I thought this would be easier. Cumin is a necessary part of hummus recipes, as I have blogged before, but you are right, mdhatter, that many people use too much. I used enough for it to blend with the two salts in such a fashion as to create a beautiful melody sung out of plain tomato soup.
Only ONE cheese?
Piker.
That is the closest anyone has gotten, BP.
You should've been using Velveeta?
Oh, and I don't care if I only get one guess. I'm submitting again. I'm a rebel
I know the answer, but I am not telling because I already used my one and only guess.
Break the rules jennb!! Do it! Break em!
Velveeta is not cheese. It is orange vinyl.
That's how I feel about Velveeta and all varities of American cheese.
Would you please just give us the answer already?
No.
