It just keeps coming.

I sure wish Claire's blog didn't have underscores in the URL so people behind (rather common) SQUID-based proxies could actually visit it.

*sigh*

Res, if I understood what you meant, I would try and fix it. It does what now?

Oh, I think I just realized what you meant, Res. I didn't realize it was a problem. Sorry!

Are SQUID-based proxies what were coming down the aisle on this flight?

Just messin' with you, Claire. It's a weird thing, because URLs with underscores will actually resolve without any problem, but the relevant RFCs that outline the naming convention standards for the internet exclude underscores, and the SQUID FAQ says that it "enforces" the standard. La dee da, right? Who made them the boss of us? It just means that I can't read your blog from work....which is where I do all my best blog reading.

yeah, instead of underscore, everyone loves the hyphen.

Also, when I read this post it reminds me of a scene in Tommy Boy where Chris Farley is lighting toy cars on fire and does an impression of an EMT on the scene.

That of course then reminds me of the Gap Girls sketch on SNL and Chris Farley saying, "Lay off me, I'm starving."

That of course then reminds me of the Schmidt's Gay sketch. Ah randomness.
